This ensemble cast movie is well worth seeing. The acting is dead on. The cast does a great job. My problems with this film are in the writing and editing choices that were made to put it together. It is a bit predictable and it has too many coincidences. In addition, we pretty much get the point of the movie near the begining. The rest of the movie is just to complete the story. However, despite this it is an interesting and painful look at racial tensions. My friends from LA who saw it said, "And that's just one more reminder why I moved back to New York where it is safe."
