Florent is closing. I will miss it.

As many of you may know, the meatpacking district has changed dramatically in the past few years.  Slowly but surely, there old businesses are leaving and hip and trendy places are moving in.  The most recent loss I have heard of is, of course, Florent.  Scheduled to close on June 29th,  it will be missed.  I have to say that I do not find the new meatpacking district to be as interesting and fun as it used to be.  But change is a constant.  So here are a few pictures of the last few parts of the area that have yet to change.
