The 4th Annual Gingerbread Homes for Animals is having its show in Chelsea Market right now! This cute display features a number of homes for animals made out of gingerbread and is a fundraiser to help animals in need. There are things to see and do, and even some special events. Not to mention the auction of gingerbread houses next Sunday. Enter a world of sweets used to display how animals might live in gingerbread homes, or in this case, gingerbread pig sty. Yum.

Here we see Urban Jungle, where monkeys live on a smaller, but no doubt more delicious gingerbread Empire State Building, not to mention the Stray Cats over at a now extinct CBGBs.

And for those of you following the discussion I have been having with my OLD friend, Alex at Rip and Read, this show even features more of the subversive penguins who are trying to take over our world and change it to suit their needs. The score is now Penguins 5, Rip and Read 1.

I got "1"? How'd I get "1"? Stepping out of character for a moment, I
don't see how the intollarent ignoramous personna I've adopted could have
scored ANYTHING.
I was giving you "1" out of pity, pure pity.
Here is a Gingerbread Empire State Building I built to support Big Brothers
Big Sisters. It was auctioned off for $1000 last year.
