I try not to cover political topics here on NYCstories, but I just can resist today.  Below are two quotes from our fearless leader, W. 


"The Iraqi regime . . . possesses and produces chemical and biological weapons. It is seeking nuclear weapons. We know that the regime has produced thousands of tons of chemical agents, including mustard gas, sarin nerve gas, VX nerve gas." - Oct. 7, 2002


"I can say with certainty that the Quds Force, a part of the Iranian government, has provided these sophisticated IEDs (improvised explosive devices) that have harmed our troops." - Feb. 14th, 2007


So, do we believe him this time around?  Or is this just more W style political manuevering as the House votes on a nonbinding resolution disapproving the president's plan to increase troop strength by more than 20,000?  Hmmm.
